I’ve recently been playing with the idea of growing my own vegetables, which led me to this book as garlic is one of my favourite tastes. I love cooking with garlic because it’s so versatile- I use it in stir-fries, to flavour chips, on pizza bases, in pasta sauce and also to make garlic toast by simply rubbing half a clove on toasted bread.This book is a delightful and informative resource for any garlic lovers, which includes: a history of garlic, the different types of garlic, how to make a garlic braid (like in those cool market stalls) and heaps of garlic sauces I can’t wait to try!
I was pleased to see a warning in the back of the book to not feed your pets garlic as it may be toxic for them. Hopefully everybody with a pet sees this advice.

Excellent source for all things garlic! I had made some mistakes with growing and drying garlic before I got this book. It is detailed on every aspect and I highly recommend it if you are considering growing garlic!
I love to garden, but had never tried to grow garlic . . . that is, until now. This book is informative and easy to read. I now have three raised beds in the backyard, hardneck garlic in one, softneck garlic in another and elephant garlic in the third.
